From Udenhout in Holland Thijs Denissen wrote us the following information about his part of the Denissen Family: "My name is Thijs Denissen and I have 2 brothers and 1 sister. The oldest one is called Jaap Denissen and he is twenty. The second is Luuk Denissen and he is 18 years old. The youngest male am I. I'm 17 years old. The youngest one in the family is Neeltje., she is 15. My parents are Jan and Arien Denissen-Nouwens. Jan is 46 years old and Arien is 45 years of age. Jan has three sisters: Trudy, Corry (+) and Petra and two brothers, Ton and Henk. My grandfather was Sjef Denissen (10/11,1923-11/6,1990). He was married to Corrie van der Meijden. Sjef had three sisters; Jans, Zuster (+) (she was a sister in a monestary) and Marie. He also had three brothers; Willem (+), Jo (+) and Josephus (+). The father of this generation was Henricus Denissen (23/8,1877-21/2,1925). He was married with Gertrude van Doormaal. Hernricus had three sisters; Petronella, Maria-Cornelia and Johanna Maria. He also had two brothers; Christianus and Johannes. Henricus' father was Wilhelmus Denissen (23/12,1836-2/10,1921) and he was married to Johannus Maria Pugmans."
From Vlaardingen in Holland Hans Denissen wrote us the following information about his part of the Denissen Family: "I am Hans Denissen and have already some contact with lindy in USA. For holland you can contact me for translation and/or other stuff" I was most impressed by his statement, what the name of his company is: "I am an computer company dastex data - find by www.dastex.nl. dastex is named by my chilren DA(nielle) ST(ephanie) (al)EX(ia)"

From Den Helder Tom Denissen wrote us the following interesting facts: "Hello, my name is Tom Denissen, married to Tonnie Goossens and have two children Bas and Rieneke. We live in Den Helder in Holland and my father was born on the 9th of January 1916 in Ambt Hardenberg, in Overijssel. I must have two or three uncles, but I don't really know since they all live overthere. Originally my grandfather and mother came from Berkel Enschot, since I can remember visiting there once with my grandmother. Lost all contact with the family a long time ago and maybe someone can give me an update about them. Thanks and it was nice to see a homepage with my name on it. By the way go and get ICQ for there are many Denissen's in the US and a lot of them are connected to the ICQ network."
From another Hans Denissen from Berkel-Enschot we got the following translated info: "I am Hans Denissen (born in Berkel-Enschot on 9th of june 1957). My father is Christianus Wilhelmus Denissen (born on 6th of june 1920 ) and my mother is Isabella Maria Welten (born 25th of november 1924). I am married with Miriam Rijnen (born 13th of october 1966) and we have two children Niels (born 13th of april 1995) and Roel (born 24th of february 1998)"
Short translation of some info by Marc Denissen: " I was born on the 6th of september 1964 in Voerendaal, but my family comes from Vroomshoop in Overijssel. At the moment I live in Ommen, the most beautiful cizy in Overijssel."
A long entry on the dutch pinoard by Igor-Bastien Denissen. The main facts translated: "I am a 21 years old student of the T.U. in Eindhoven. My father found this homepage and printed all the info out, because we could be direct relatives of the Petrus Denissen family. When I look at the pics I must say that many look like my grandfather. We seem to have a lot in common with that family. My parents and grandparents come from Bergen op Zoom. My father is Ad Denissen (1-10-1940) and my grandfather Frans Denissen (27-12-1914?)."

Very interesting news came from Peter Denissen: "Hiep Hoi ! Never knew there were that much people with this family name. May have some advantages, I think. I am a descendant of the Twente-branch (Holland). Right now I'm finishing my studies International Tourism Management with a specialisation in Interactive Marketing. (implementing IT in tourism). Took me a while, but "dan heb je ook wat". Haven't seen the others of the family for a while now. (Marc, Vincent & Patrick are nehpews of mine). I guess they have settled all over the country and some even abroad. I am planning to leave in Februari 2000 to South Africa (gonna start up a new Denissen-clan over there) at first for 6 months but eventually for life. Well that's it. Mazzl"

My parents surnames are: Gerardus Denissen, born in Tilburg and Cornelia Wagemakers, born in Tilburg. I lived many years in Tilburg, moved to Malaga, Spain and at the moment I live in Toledo, Spain. Anyway, a compliment to denissen.com site. Bye bye, hasta luego."
